Stream Bank Restoration on Little Dark Shade Creek

In 2010, we worked in conjunction with property owners to restore a section of the stream bank on Little Dark Shade Creek in Old Central.  Over the years, the stream bank had eroded away.  By lining the stream bank with large limestone rock, further erosion will be minimal and as the limestone erodes small amounts of limestone will contribute to the restoration of the water quality in the creek.
