Gahagen Passive Treatment System 

Construction began in the summer of 2018 on a new facility to treat the Acid Mine Discharge that is affecting Coal Run in Gahagen. The project will restore more than four miles of stream and maintain previous mine drainage treatment in the headwaters of Shade Creek, which are supporting native brook trout populations.
